Professional Consultation
Consultation is a service offered to help independent professionals enrich their understanding of psychological matters.
Psychologists can provide consultation in clinical, health, corporate, and community settings, which is different from direct clinical service or clinical supervision.
Psychological consultation is described in the Standards of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) as the provision of information, within a relationship of professionals of relatively equal status, generally based upon a limited amount of information that offers a point of view that is not binding with respect to the subsequent professional behaviour of the recipient of the information.
In consultation, psychologists can make case-specific recommendations to professionals, advise with respect to the development of processes, and discuss general issues.
We support leaders and teams in various settings (e.g. organizations, law firms, hospitals) to help them unlock their potential, improve communication skills, address work-life balance and improve stress-management skills. We provide leadership coaching, helping high-potential employees and leaders gain self-awareness to understand what blocks their path and clarify professional goals.
Given that communication is the key in all aspects of leadership and teamwork, we also focus on assertiveness training, presentation skills, conflict resolution and building team engagement. As psychologists we are uniquely positioned to help you understand what blocks your path on the way to achieving your leadership goals, we help you navigate the fear of not performing well and help clarify your personal triggers.
No other profession is better suited to help you understand your unique challenges and help you unlock your potential to reach your professional goals.
Offered both virtually and in person. Cost of consultation is $450.
