Focused, one-on-one psychological consultation for professionals and athletes working under sustained pressure.
Whether you’re an established professional, an elite athlete, or part of a high-performing team, sustained pressure changes how the mind and body respond. Many capable people notice that execution slips under stress — focus narrows, confidence wavers, or familiar mistakes appear at critical moments.
I work with adults whose difficulties show up most clearly under pressure — even when things appear “fine” on the surface.
Common challenges we address:
-
Persistent anxiety that interferes with execution, focus, or consistency — particularly in high-stakes or evaluative situations. This may include anticipatory anxiety, rumination after performance, or difficulty accessing skills under pressure.
-
A relentless internal voice that drives achievement but also undermines confidence, satisfaction, or emotional stability. Often experienced as perfectionism, fear of mistakes, or feeling “never quite enough.”
-
Psychological strain related to decision-making, authority, visibility, or carrying responsibility for others. This may show up as isolation, second-guessing, emotional containment, or difficulty disengaging.
-
Difficulty managing emotions when demands are high — including irritability, shutdown, anxiety spikes, or emotional spillover into work or relationships.
-
Emotional exhaustion, reduced motivation, or loss of meaning after prolonged pressure — especially when rest alone doesn’t restore functioning.
-
Questions about competence, legitimacy, or self-trust despite objective success. Often intensifies with advancement, transitions, or increased visibility.
-
Periods where previously effective coping no longer works — such as career changes, injury, role shifts, or personal transitions (e.g., losses, parenthood) that disrupt equilibrium.
ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTATION
For professionals who are ready to do the deeper work.
This is individual psychological consultation grounded in clinical training. We focus on understanding the patterns shaping your reactions, decisions, and emotional responses under pressure. Sessions involve careful assessment, psychological insight, and collaborative exploration — not surface strategies or motivational techniques.
It’s not mindset coaching, and it’s more than skills training. This is depth-oriented work designed to address what’s driving the performance interference — not just manage it.
You won’t leave with a checklist. You’ll leave with insight into what’s holding you back and how to move through it.
How we work
We begin with a brief consultation to understand what’s bringing you in and whether this is the right fit.
From there, sessions focus on:
Identifying psychological patterns that interfere with performance or stability
Understanding where these patterns come from and why they persist
Developing greater internal control, flexibility, and clarity under pressure
This is depth-oriented psychological work grounded in clinical training — not coaching, quick fixes, or symptom management alone.
Consultations are offered virtually and in person. The fee is $300.

What to expect in our first conversation.
We’ll begin with a brief call to clarify your goals and determine whether we’re a good fit. Ethical standards, clinical judgment, and honest dialogue guide every engagement. If it’s not the right match, I’ll tell you and offer a referral where possible.
